COVID-19 CLIENT PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES - in accordance with the Government of Alberta and Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association

Please know that during this time and always, your health and safety is priority. I will be following all public health and regulatory board directives for screening, hand hygiene, environmental cleaning and disinfecting, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your health and safety while receiving treatment.

  • DO NOT BOOK WITHIN 2 DAYS OF COVID-19 VACCINATION

    Massage contraindicated within 48hrs of vaccination.

  • MASK OPTIONAL

    Recommended to bring your mask to wear while face up (during supine part of the massage).

  • PRE-PAY IF POSSIBLE send e-transfer to vksiltanen@gmail.com (payment will automatically be deposited)

  • ARRIVE 5 MINUTES EARLY (to avoid contact with others). If you're earlier, please wait in your vehicle or outside - there are benches on the front porch.

Please do not bring extra people to the appointment unless absolutely necessary (parent/guardian or caretaker is fine).

  • OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

Any patients who are sick, or experiencing symptoms such as fever, trouble breathing, coughing are to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel within 24 hrs (late cancellation policy) due to symptoms/sickness you will not be charged a late cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged full rate.

Bring a water bottle to your appointment.

Book earlier in the day if you are higher risk.

Schedule your appointment on the same day as others in your household when possible.

  • WHAT I’M DOING

    I will be wearing a mask and apron during your treatment. Masks/aprons are changed between clients.

    All standard cleaning protocols -clean sheets/towels, hand/arm washing pre/post massage, disinfecting all entrance and massage room surfaces and tools.

    Additional disinfecting protocols - disinfection of floors, walls, and bathroom increased to between clients.
